A Hatha Yoga class drawing from the 8 limbs of yoga. A well rounded practice to improve flexibility and strength, to quiet the mind and connect to a sense of balance. Classes typically include breathing exercises (pranayama), floor and standing postures, sun salutation and relaxation at the end of class.

Prior yoga experience is recommended.

Gentle Restorative Yoga

A Gentle Yoga class for (but not limited to) those who are brand new to yoga, or may have physical issues they are working with. Gentle Yoga is a class structured around rejuvenating and nourishing the body. Yoga props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, chairs and straps are often used for safe practice, and to allow the body to fully achieve each position comfortably. This class is held at a slower pace and focuses on stretching all areas of the body, while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles. A lovely relaxing class for any yoga practitioner!

No prior yoga experience needed.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement,” and Vinyasa yoga is an energizing series of poses that will move you vigorously through a sequence, rhythmically inhaling and exhaling and flowing smoothly.

For students who like a challenging practice.

Yin Mindfulness Yoga

Tuesday 5.30pm

Yin Yoga is a meditative, slow-paced style of yoga where poses are held for longer periods of time (three minutes or longer per pose), and is a combination of postures and meditation in one practice.

Yin Yoga poses work deeper in the body with the connective tissues—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. 

For students who are interested in deepening their meditative practices and to access a deep relaxation and well being.

Open classes do not require registration! They are ongoing and can be joined anytime.

If you have never done yoga before we recommend you take the 6 week Introduction to Hatha Yoga  class OR take the Gentle Restorative Classes on our Open Class Schedule.
