Yoga is not just an exercise form, but a practice that helps us not only to cultivate a fluid, strong and balanced body, but potentially offers a gateway to awareness, equanimity and insight.
Open Yoga Classes
We offer a daily open Yoga class program where students can drop in whenever their schedule allows. Open classes do not require any pre registration and you can purchase a pass to attend .
We offer a a variety of different classes from challenging and vigorous to restorative and gentle, from fluid to Yin: our spacious yet solid approach attracts students of all ages, size, gender and fitness levels who feel welcome and comfortable here.
Weather related closings are announced on our Facebook page, on this web site at the bottom of each page, and News Channel 7. We only cancel classes when there is a severe weather situation – and we will post as soon as the decision is made!
Courses usually are 6 weeks long and you need to register for them. Our Courses include:

- Prenatal Yoga

Meditation and Philosophy
Educational classes such a “Intro to Mindfulness Meditation” and “Yoga and Meditation 101” are for students seeking to deepen their practice and to learn more about the philosophy of Wisdom Traditions.The particular meditation approach taught at Healing Waters is Mindfulness Meditation which has it’s origin in the Buddhist traditions, but which teachings and applications are universal and secular. We offer in depth programs for those students who want to deepen their practice and want to study Yoga, Meditation and Eastern Wisdom teachings.
Stress Reduction and Wellness
Stress reduction is one of the principal benefits of Yoga and Meditation.
We offer a a strong array of programs to address the issues of stress through tools rooted in the Eastern Wisdom Traditions and Body-Mind Modalities. Our very popular“ Yin Stress Reduction” course is offered on a regular basis. We also offer workshops for personal development and growth through contemplative practices, inquiry and exploration.
Our Yoga program has been chosen as a Yoga Provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield of WNY “Wellness Benefit”. Many of our programs are fully covered. You can find more information on the programs covered by BCBS on our “Purchase” page.
We also accept BCBS & Independent Flexfit cards.
We offer Gift Certificates in any denomination to use toward our Open Yoga Classes or Courses.
